Despite the fact that I am extremely OCD and have to find balance and symmetry in everything that I do (make sure that all of my tattoos are symmetrical, check repeatedly if things are locked and turned off), my favorite number is a prime number: the number 5.
Usually, people side with lucky 13 or 7 but 5 is just another thing that makes me unique, seeing as I know no one else that loves #5 like me. I mean, in my random lists there are 5 things, reasons, tips, and/or advice that I give. It just fits. So here are 5 reasons why the number 5 is the best!
1. There are 5 elements of Nature (or better known by my generation as Captain Planet Planeteers):
Earth, Wind, Water, Fire, and HE<3RT. All things that provide balance in my life and most likely yours.
2. There are 5 written vowels in the English alphabet. It’s a strange reason to love 5 but I love writing so this happens to be cool to me. Side note: this stands as a partial reason because these five vowels are made up of four letters. Odd, I know.
3. The human species has 5 senses. (Hearing, sight, touch, smell, and taste- in case you don’t know) All five of these senses are a blessing and I couldn’t live without even one of them.
4. One of my favorite fruits: Apple Why? Not only does the word contain 5 letters but Apples also have 5 seeds (or seed cavities), 5 petals in an apple plant, and usually blossom in clusters of 5. Don’t believe my Apple and the number five correlation? Check out this: http://tiny.cc/q9fyvw
5. And lastly, but of course not least, I love the number 5 is more than because we have 5 fingers on each hand. More than because we have 5 toes on each foot.
